Before you shop

How fast is delivery?+

Order before midday and we’ll have your gin out the door the same day. As a guide, allow 1–2 days for North Island addresses and 2–3 days for South Island addresses, plus another 1–2 days if you’re rural. We’ll leave you in charge of chilling the tonic.

Can I add gin to my WineFriend subscription?+

Yes! Each month our skilled team will hand pick one of the BEST boutique gins around. It’ll be a surprise, because surprises are the BEST, and you can choose to REPLACE one* wine bottle with a bangin’ bottle of gin in your delivery! (*It’ll be two bottles for you lucky 12 bottle customers).

How to ADD GIN to your subscription:

  1. Log in to your WineFriend account and click on the SUBSCRIPTIONS tab
  2. Click EDIT SUBSCRIPTION
  3. Tick GIVE ME GIN
  4. If prompted, adjust your combination of red and white wines
  5. Click SAVE and eagerly await your next gin-filled delivery!

Gin will be added at a flat rate of $85 per bottle MINUS the price of the wine bottle(s) you’re swapping out (according to your subscription). Don’t worry, you’ll be able to see the updated cost before confirming.

Is this gin collection around all year?+

No — this is our annual summer special! The collection lands each October and sticks around until March, or until stocks run out. We’re all for stretching out those sunny afternoons and balmy evenings, so nab your favourites while you can.

Do I need to be 18+ to order?+

Yes, you’ll need to be 18 or over to buy alcohol in New Zealand. That’s the law, folks!
